Web Design
Pathways Speech Therapy, Inc.
Pathways Speech Therapy, Inc. is a speech pathology practice in Athens, AL. I met with Caitlin Barker to get a feel for her needs and discuss my process with her. We ultimately decided that GoDaddy’s Website Builder CMS would be the best for what she and I were comfortable with and providing long-term sustainability for her practice. I did not write the content for this site, but the layout and design choices were mine. GoDaddy was a good choice for Pathways because this is a small practice that needs to direct their resources towards patients instead of figuring out how to update a more complicated website.
360 Fitness
I worked with 360 Fitness completely remote to build their website. While the gym is located locally to me, the business partner that I worked with was not, therefore we worked through email and a couple of teleconferences. Again, I used GoDaddy’s Website Builder CMS to build 360 Fitness something for the purpose of client self-sustainability. My creation with this site was from the ground up. The business partner sent me logos, a mission statement, and some images, and I took that information and created the content, layout, and design myself. The choice to use GoDaddy was correct, because the owners have taken the work I did and modified the structure for what they want to reflect.
Von Braun Astronomical Society
Through my college career, I minored in Web Communications. One of my required classes for the minor was a Senior Project Management class where I worked in a team of five under an instructor to renovate the Von Braun Astronomical Society’s website using HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript. I took on a lot of the project/client management work as well as the more structurally heavy portions of the site, such as the archives and resource links. I cannot link the complete work we did here due to the fact that the structure of VBAS has not quite allowed for site updates yet, but the photo gallery includes a few screenshots of work the team did.
